A&O Shearman advises FastBridge Fiber and Guggenheim Investments in strategic acquisition by Greenlight Networks

A&O has advised FastBridge Fiber and Guggenheim Investments ("Guggenheim") in connection with the definitive agreement for Greenlight Networks to acquire FastBridge Fiber, a Pennsylvania-based fiber internet provider. The transaction, expected to close in mid-2026 pending regulatory approvals, marks a significant milestone in the continued expansion of high-speed fiber internet across the Northeastern United States.

FastBridge Fiber, majority-owned by select client accounts of Guggenheim, will become part of Greenlight Networks’ growing infrastructure footprint. Following the transaction, Guggenheim will take an ownership stake in Greenlight Networks, joining Oak Hill Capital in supporting the company’s growth and expansion initiatives. FastBridge Fiber’s network spans key regions in Pennsylvania and New York, including Buffalo, Berks County, Bloomsburg, Danville, Williamsport, and ongoing construction in Erie and Hazelton.

“A&O Shearman is proud to support FastBridge Fiber and Guggenheim in this transformative transaction.”
