Zeeger specialises in banking and finance law, in particular advising on renewables / energy transition / project financing, datacenter finance, real estate finance and public private partnerships.

The financed assets involved range from wind farms, solar, hydrogen, biogas, battery storage and terminals to infrastructure port-folio companies, HQ offices buildings, tunnels, datacenters, fiber and satellites. Most financings involve mixes of fixed and floating rate loans. Zeeger has lectured on project finance at Leiden University, Utrecht University and Amsterdam University (VU).

Areas of Expertise:
 
  • Public Private Partnerships (PPP): Finance documents, project documents, joint ventures and disputes. Assets involved include roads, tunnels, office buildings, court houses and waste water plants.
  • Project Financing and General Development: Datacenters, fiber, on- and off-shore wind farms, battery storage, EV charging companies, carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS), sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), Defense assets, terminal business, harbor assets, solar, electricity plants, nuclear, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), green lending, hydrogen, biogas, biofuels, heat business, cashflow-based acquisitions and general secured lending.
  • Property Financing: Real estate developments and investments, including logistics and hotels.
  • Infrastructure Mergers & Acquisitions: both individual and portfolio companies and both investment and divestments.
 
Most financings involve mixes of fixed and floating rate loans. 
 
Zeeger has lectured on project finance at Leiden University, Utrecht University and Amsterdam University (VU). 
 
Zeeger joined the firm in 2002, holds a law degree from Leiden University and also worked/studied in England, France and the US.
