With extensive experience in M&A transactions, Jakub represents both buyers and sellers in domestic and cross-border deals, primarily in the technology sector.

He is also an expert in IP law, focusing on online copyright enforcement, protection against unfair competition, and the enforcement of trademarks and patent rights. Jakub is recognized as a Rising Star for M&A by IFLR1000, ranked Silver in WTR 1000, and listed as a Leading Associate for IP by Legal 500.

Most recently, he has been ranked as an Associate to Watch in Chambers Global 2026, further highlighting his growing prominence in the Czech market. He regularly advises on private equity and venture capital deals and is a key contributor to Czech Startup Documentation, a pioneering project by leading law firms that provides free sample investment documentation to support the Czech innovation ecosystem and facilitate fundraising from investors.

  • AutoBinck Group N.V. on the sale of its Czech and Slovak divisions of Business Lease Group to KBC Group’s ČSOB Leasing Czech Republic and ČSOB Leasing Slovakia.
  • Maspex Group on its acquisition of the Becherovka brand and related assets, including the production and logistic facilities in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. 
  • W.A.G payment solutions plc, a leading pan-European integrated payments & mobility platform focused on the Commercial Road Transportation industry, on its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of WebEye Telematics, a leading fleet management solution provider in Central and Eastern Europe based in Budapest. 
  • Notino (Europe's largest online retailer of cosmetics) in connection with its investment in explore & beyond s.r.o., owner of the startup Talentpilot (originally Supertalent). 
  • Cordiant Digital Infrastructure, a newly-established specialist digital infrastructure investor, on its acquisition of České Radiokomunikace (a leading broadcasting, media and communications services provider in the Czech Republic) from funds managed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets. 
  • ING Bank on the closure of its retail business in the Czech Republic and its entry to an agreement with Raiffeisenbank (RB) which will give current ING clients the opportunity to become RB's customers and transfer their savings and investments to RB. 
  • The management of Memsource (Phrase) on the sale of its majority stake to global investment firm Carlyle Group.
