A&O Shearman has advised AutoBinck Group N.V. on the sale of its Czech and Slovak divisions of Business Lease Group to KBC Group’s ČSOB Leasing Czech Republic and ČSOB Leasing Slovakia. The transaction, valued at approximately EUR72 million, marks a significant step in the regional leasing market.

The A&O Shearman team provided comprehensive legal and strategic support across multiple jurisdictions. Prague-based senior associate Jakub Čech led the transaction team with support from associate Jan Spousta. Partner Katinka Middelkoop oversaw the Dutch law aspects and provided strategic guidance.

Multi-jurisdictional due diligence was coordinated by associate Martin Vykopal, with support from junior lawyer Alice Lepesantová, working alongside Bratislava-based associate Lenka Letková. Senior associate Ivana Halamová oversaw antitrust aspects of the deal, while specialist tax advice was handled by senior tax advisor Michal Dušek.
