A&O Shearman represented Intercorp Peru Ltd. in connection with its offering of USD300m 5.600% Senior Notes due 2033. The proceeds were used for the refinancing or repayment of certain indebtedness, including the repayment in full of a bridge loan, and any balance for general corporate purposes.

Intercorp Peru Ltd. is a holding company for one of Peru’s largest business groups, with businesses mainly focused on financial services, retail, education, and healthcare. 

This bond offering advances Intercorp Peru Ltd.’s broader refinancing objectives and reflects the continued participation of international investors in significant Peruvian capital markets transactions. The matter also reflects the firm’s continuing work with Peruvian issuers in the international debt markets.
