A&O Shearman advised infrastructure investment manager Palisade Infrastructure on an investment in MicroGrid Networks, a leading developer, builder, and operator of battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects in New York City.

The transaction, which includes Palisade’s acquisition of an equity interest in MicroGrid Networks and the establishment of a joint venture to advance development-stage projects, represents Palisade's fifth investment in the U.S.

“This transaction opens a strategic pathway for Palisade into one of the most dynamic energy storage markets in the U.S. These BESS projects will deliver critical grid reliability infrastructure to help power New York City with sustainable energy.”
