A&O Shearman advises Trinidad and Tobago on USD1 billion bond offering and tender offer
A&O Shearman represented the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in connection with its offering of USD1 billion 6.500% Notes due 2036 and concurrent cash tender offer for its 4.500% Notes due 2026. 

The Republic intends to use the proceeds from the offering to pay the consideration for the tender offer and for general budgetary purposes.

The A&O Shearman team was led by New York-based Capital Markets partners Manuel Orillac and Alejandro A. Gordano, alongside Capital Markets visiting attorneys Moises Gonzalez Arroyo and Teresa Zuniga, as well as partner Tax partner Lorenz Haselberger and Tax associate Edgardo Martinez Gastelum.
