A&O Shearman advises EDP on the sale of a 121 MW wind projects portfolio in France and Belgium

A&O Shearman has advised EDP, through its subsidiary EDP Renováveis, S.A. (EDPR), on the sale to various vehicles managed by Amundi Transition Energétique (ATE), of 100% of a 121 MW wind portfolio located in France and Belgium for an enterprise value of EUR0.20 billion. This deal is part of the asset rotation strategy of EDP.

The portfolio comprises 11 operating wind projects in France, totaling 111MW, with an average commercial operation date (COD) in 2020 and one operating wind project in Belgium, totaling 11 MW, with a COD in 2020.
