A&O Shearman advises Daher Group on its entry into exclusive negotiations with Sopra Steria for the sale of its Manufacturing Engineering business
A&O Shearman advised French industrial group Daher on its entry into exclusive negotiations with Sopra Steria, a leading European tech company, regarding the proposed sale of the Manufacturing Engineering business of its subsidiary Daher Industrial Services.

This business includes production preparation as well as support during ramp‑up phases and the optimization of industrial performance in the aerospace sector. It helps to ensuring quality, industrial performance and continuity of production operations. 

Primarily based in France and Germany, the Manufacturing Engineering business employs more than 300 people and generated revenues of over EUR42 million in 2025. 

The proposed transaction remains subject to prior consultation with employee representative bodies, as well as to the receipt of customary regulatory approvals, with completion expected in the second half of 2026.
