EU market integration and supervision package

Following its publication on December 4, 2025, market participants, supervisors and legislators have been analyzing the proposals under the EU Market Integration and Supervision Package (MISP).

The MISP is a sweeping piece of EU legislation that amends and consolidates a broad array of financial services regulations and directives—spanning MiFIR, MiFID II, EMIR, CSDR, UCITS, AIFMD, MiCAR, and many others. Emerging from the 2024 Draghi Report and the 2025 Competitiveness Compass, the MISP aims to deepen capital market integration, reduce regulatory fragmentation across Member States, and support greater retail participation in European financial markets.
