Serap advises on a wide range of corporate matters, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and equity capital markets. 

She has extensive experience in private M&A transactions, often involving complex international elements. Her expertise spans various sectors and a broad spectrum of clients, including corporates, private equity firms, and listed companies. Her international experience is bolstered by her secondment in Singapore, where she gained valuable insights into transactions in the APAC market.
 
In addition to her M&A work, Serap is experienced in advising clients on IPOs, secondary issuances, and ongoing listing obligations.

Representative matters

  • A multinational telecommunications company on its Edge data centre joint venture with Digital Colony Partners.
  • A global telecommunications services provider on the Dutch aspects of its tender offer of approximately 42.32% of Global Telecom Holdings' issued shares.
  • APM Terminals on the sale of 100% of the shares in APM Terminals Rotterdam B.V. to Hutchison Ports Netherlands.
  • Royal DSM on its EUR25 bn cross-border merger of equals with Firmenich International. 
  • Prosus on an accelerated offering of shares in Tencent Holding. The sale reduced its stake in Tencent from approximately 30,9% to 28,9%, yielding USD14.6bn.
  • A group of financial institutions on their USD1.5 billion divestment of O2 Power, an Indian renewable energy platform, to JSW Energy. This transaction is the largest renewable energy exit by a financial sponsor in India.
