A&O Shearman represents banks on Kallpa Generación’s USD700 million bond offering and tender offer
A&O Shearman represented the initial purchasers and dealer managers in connection with Kallpa Generación S.A.’s offering of USD700m 5.500% senior notes due 2035 and the abbreviated tender offer for its 4.125% senior notes due 2027.
Kallpa Generación is the largest energy generation company in Peru with a 1.8GW portfolio of generation capacity that includes combined cycles, hydro, and battery energy storage system assets along with a solar project under construction.

A&O Shearman is actively at work across Latin America advising clients in substantive debt capital markets transactions. The firm recently represented the initial purchasers in connection with: 

  • Arcor S.A.I.C.’s USD350m 7.600% notes due 2033 and conditional redemption of its Class 18 notes 
  • SURA Asset Management’s USD500m 6.350% senior guaranteed notes due 2032 and tender offer to purchase for cash up to USD175m of its 4.375% senior guaranteed notes due 2027
