Sofia Sa'adullah

Senior Associate

Sofia is experienced within the Real Estate practice group specialising in development and construction law - in particular, advising on the construction aspects of development and finance transactions.

She frequently acts for investors, landlords, tenants and developers in relation to their acquisitions and developments across London and the UK for all types of property class.

Sofia is experienced in negotiating a full range of standard and bespoke forms of construction contracts and has advised on some of the most significant development projects in London in recent years, including financing a regeneration and redevelopment project of a 23 acre site in East London, the refurbishment of a 250,000 sqf office space in the City and the development of a HQ building for a global investment bank in London.

Relevant firm/and previous firm experience includes advising:

a group of lenders on the restructuring of a legacy hotel portfolio for a real estate fund involving 21 four-star UK–wide hotels, which helped the fund finance its hotel portfolio growth over the last eight years. 

a lender on its financing of a £265m financing of 20 logistics properties.

a lender on its financing of a £219m financing of 24 student properties.

a consortium of banks on their £390m financing of a mixed use development site in the City of London.

a global investment bank on its letting of a new HQ in the City of London.

a property fund on its acquisitions and subsequent developments of commercial properties in London and the UK, which recently included a £181m commercial property in the City of London and a high-end office block in Mayfair for £105m.
