Sigrid is Managing Partner of A&O Shearman Netherlands.

Sigrid specialises in structuring complex transactions, restructuring in and out of court, insolvency proceedings and special solutions of companies in financial distress. Sigrid has represented companies and sponsors in a wide range of domestic and cross-border corporate and multi-layer debt restructurings. She also has particular expertise in corporate finance, secured lending, collateral arrangements, and distressed debt trading. 
 
Sigrid is a member and fellow of the International Association of Insolvency Lawyers (INSOL International), member of the Dutch Association of Insolvency Lawyers (INSOLAD), member of the Dutch Restructuring Association, member of the Women in Restructuring initiative in the Netherlands, and a member of the insolvency committee for the Ministry of justice.
