Robert advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious planning law including providing planning law advice on corporate and real estate finance transactions.
He regularly represents developers and has particular experience acting at major public inquiries into called-in applications, appeals and compulsory purchase orders.

Uniper on its outline planning application to enable the redevelopment of the former Kingsnorth power station site – known as MedwayOne.

Quadrant on its planning application for the redevelopment of 30 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf.

Wittington Investments Limited (the Weston family) on its sale of its European luxury retail group comprising Selfridges, de Bijenkorf and Brown Thomas to the Thai conglomerate the Central Group and Austrian real estate group Signa Holding GMBH.

Quadrant on its planning application for the development of Plot A Nine Elms, Battersea.
