International arbitrations on which Rishabh Raheja has worked include the representation of:

  • Representing two international construction contractors, Respondents in an ICC arbitration in London brought by a Middle Eastern State entity. The dispute arises out of the development of a world-class medical facility in the Middle East. The law of the Claimant's State applies. $ 3.7 billion is at stake.
  • Advising and representing a major South East Asian real estate company in a dispute with private equity investors arising in connection with various loan and shareholder agreements.
  • Advising an Indian real estate company in a dispute arising from a joint venture. Singapore law applies.
  • Acting for a South East Asian company as Claimant in a SIAC arbitration in Singapore against a European oil & gas company. The dispute arises from the breach of an LNG sale and purchase agreement. English law applies.
  • Acting for The People's Republic of China in an ICSID arbitration brought by Hela Schwarz GmbH (ICSID Case No. ARB/17/19). The claims are brought under the China-Germany bilateral investment treaty.
  • Acting for an international joint venture, Claimant in an ICC arbitration against a Middle Eastern State-owned company. The dispute arises from a contract for the design & build of a major infrastructure project in the Middle East. Approximately $ 600 million is at stake. The law of the Respondent's State applies.
  • Representing a European company in an ICC arbitration in Singapore initiated by an Asian contractor in relation to an EPC contract for the construction of a natural gas facility in the Middle East. English law applied.
  • A heavy equipment supplier and contractor in relation to a highly complex construction arbitration, related local litigation and a number of delay, disruption, defects and other disputes arising out of two fossil fuel construction megaprojects in Africa with claims and counterclaims of over $2 billion. The law of the country of the projects applies.
  • Advising a multinational oil & gas company in relation to rights regarding a major international crude oil transportation project in Central Asia. English law applies.
