Phil Baynes


Phil advises investment fund managers on the structuring, marketing, fundraising and operation of a wide range of private investment funds (including private equity, infrastructure, real estate and debt funds), co-investment schemes, carried interest arrangements and secondaries transactions.
He also has significant experience advising institutional investors on their alternative investment programmes.

Daiwa International Capital Partners on a GP-led secondary transaction and formation of their second European-focused infrastructure fund.

Mubadala Capital on the pending acquisition, together with Fortress management, of Fortress Investment Group from Softbank Group Corp.

Investcorp on the formation of a private equity fund focusing on growth opportunities in Saudi Arabia. 

Pemberton Asset Management on the formation of an open-ended ERISA credit fund.
