Michał is a specialist in debt finance, with particular expertise in leveraged and acquisition finance, as well as project finance across the energy, infrastructure and technology sectors.
He regularly advises a broad range of clients, including international and domestic banks, export credit agencies, financial institutions, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers, on complex and high-value lending transactions spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Michał is recognised for his ability to structure, negotiate and execute sophisticated financing solutions in the context of both domestic and cross-border deals. He is valued by clients for his pragmatic approach, technical expertise and commitment to delivering commercially focused advice.

  • Equinor and Polenergia on the successful closing of over EUR6 billion project financing for the development of the Baltyk 2 and Baltyk 3 offshore wind projects in Poland.
  • ECA and the lenders on an ECA-covered and direct loan for the Polish State Bank in connection with a Polish Armament Agency contract.
  • Foreign export agencies on the construction of the Olefins III petrochemical complex – the largest petrochemical investment in Europe in the last 20 years and the largest ever petrochemical project in Central and Eastern Europe.
  • DIF Capital Partners on financing for the development of four wind farm projects in Poland, with a total capacity of 108MW.
  • The lenders on a PLN3.1bn senior facility for Edison Holdings, a portfolio company of CVC Capital Partners and its four Polish subsidiaries, including PKP Energetyka.
