Max focuses on the design, tax and securities law implications of compensation plans. He guides public and private company clients in structuring, rolling out, administering and winding up all types of compensation plans.
Max also handles compensation, benefits and employment matters arising in transactions and negotiates executive employment and separation agreements.

Max has an active pro bono practice, advising both individuals and non-profit organizations.

Max received his J.D. in 2018 from the University of Arizona, where he graduated first in his class and was a member of the Arizona Law Review and the Order of the Coif. He received his A.B. in 2011 from Princeton University.
