Kasam has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and global business reorganisations.

Kasam’s practice covers a range of sectors including food & beverage and technology.

Prior to relocating to the UAE in 2021, Kasam spent a number of years as a corporate lawyer in the city of London, including over 2 years at a global multinational law firm where he advised on high-profile cross-border transactions covering Europe, US and the middle east. He is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and is bilingual.

A global insurance company on setting up a new managing general agent entity in the DIFC.
 
A client in the TMT space in relation to the redomicile of its group from an offshore jurisdiction to UAE. 
 
Aldar Properties PJSC on its acquisition of the beachfront resort, DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE (AED810m) (previous firm experience).
 
Legal & General on its joint venture to build over 5,000 new later living homes in the United Kingdom (GBP500m) (previous firm experience).
 
G4S on a global reorganisation of its cash solutions business across more than 40 jurisdictions and subsequent sale to a third party (enterprise value: GBP727m) (previous firm experience).
