Dr Julia Pacha

Julia advises national and international clients in all matters related to individual and collective employment law.

The focus of her advice is on accompanying complex restructurings and negotiating with works councils and trade unions, conducting internal investigations in compliance cases as well as conducting labour court disputes, in particular with regard to protection against dismissal.

In addition, Julia is the contact for day-to-day individual employment law as well as works constitution law and collective bargaining law matters, such as the conclusion and termination of employment and Managing directors service relationships, the continued validity of collective agreements after the transfer of a business or the demarcation between employees and self-employed persons. She is particularly interested in modern forms of work such as crowdwork and has extensive expertise in this area.

Qualifications

Academic

Julia studied law in Hamburg and Munich, specializing in labour and social law. She completed her doctorate at the Munich Centre for Industrial Relations and Labour Law on a labour law topic - interrupting for a research stay at the University of California, Berkeley.
