Jon Edwards


Jon advises on intellectual property disputes and specialises in patent litigation.

He has experience advising a range of international clients across different sectors, predominantly the life science and tech and comms sectors. Jon is particularly focused on the pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotech industries after studying Pharmacology at undergraduate level and working in the industry for a while after graduating.

Jon has experience providing IP enforcement advice to patent holders, as well as patent clearance and freedom-to-operate opinions to third parties. This experience gives Jon a balanced perspective when providing advice to clients. 


Pro bono

Jon acts as a mentor for post-graduate IP students at Queen Mary, University of London. He has also previously volunteered at the South Westminster Legal Advice Clinic providing pro bono advice.
