Jess focuses on the formation, promotion and operation of all types of private investment funds, including private equity, hedge, credit, infrastructure and real estate.

She also advises on the drafting and negotiation of associated documentation with such funds and with managed accounts and joint ventures.

Jess is part of our Band 1 institutional investor practice advising sovereign wealth funds, family offices and other institutional investors in connection with their acquisitions, and disposals of, investments in private investment funds, co-investments, funds of one and managed accounts, as well as in relation to secondary transactions.

  • Advising the Anti-Trafficking and Labour Exploitation Unit (ATLEU) and Hope for Justice, a victim support organisation, on discrete issues arising from applications for compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme for survivors of human trafficking.
  • Advising Zacchaeus 2000 Trust, representing vulnerable clients with physical and/or mental disabilities at Tribunal hearings for appeals in relation to Employment Support Allowance and Personal Independence Payments.
  • Advising the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) on discrete issues arising from refugee and asylum applications.
  • Advising Together with Migrant Children in connection with their Exceptional Case Funding Project.
  • Working with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).
