Jason is Managing Partner of Toronto and focuses on advising issuers and investment banks in a broad range of public and private capital markets transactions, including high yield debt issuances, leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings, cross-border securities offerings and liability management transactions.
Having worked in the firm's Toronto office for over 20 years, Jason has developed significant expertise helping Canadian companies raise money in the United States. He also advises U.S. and Canadian corporations with respect to corporate governance, spin offs and other general corporate matters. He has worked on transactions involving companies in a broad range of industries, including mining and metals, media and telecommunications, power and energy, general industrials, consumer retail and forest products.
