Gordon Mak

Gordon focuses on advising sponsors and portfolio companies in leveraged finance and private credit transactions, particularly acquisition financings with cross-border elements.

His work spans senior secured, second lien, mezzanine, unitranche, and asset-based facilities, and he helps clients navigate financing structures and capital solutions across the full capital stack to address complex funding needs and strategic objectives.

He advises on transactions at each stage of the financing lifecycle, including commitment papers, credit documentation, amendments, refinancings, and out-of-court restructurings. Drawing on experience representing both sponsors and lenders, including private credit providers, Gordon brings a practical understanding of market terms and negotiation dynamics in multi-jurisdictional financings.
