Freya specialises in all aspects of infrastructure and project finance.
She has advised on projects across the energy sector, including renewable energy, green hydrogen and low carbon fuels, nuclear power, and midstream and downstream oil & gas. Freya has additionally acted for clients on projects in the transport sector, including road and rail, as well as EV battery manufacturing gigafactories.


Representative matters

A leading shipping company on Green Marine Fuel Corridors including green hydrogen to ammonia and methanol plants. This includes all regulatory aspects (RED II and RFNBO) and the development, construction and financing of a series of giga-projects in numerous countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America.

The sponsor on the development and financing of a 12GWh lithium-ion battery gigafactory project in Sunderland, UK, including financing from UKEF and UKIB.

Gemcorp on all aspects of their development of the Cabinda Oil Refinery in Angola.

Sizewell C on the construction of the GBP22bn Sizewell C nuclear plant project in the UK.

Chevron on the development of a floating LNG project for the Leviathan field, Israel.
