Dylan advises corporates, financial sponsors, debt funds and commercial and investment bank syndicates on a range of debt products, with a particular focus on multi-jurisdictional leveraged and acquisition finance (especially involving private credit, special situations and hybrid instruments), as well as syndicated loans and export and asset finance transactions.
In addition to his transactional work, Dylan is a member of the Belgian AI Core Group, chairs the Belgian Legal Technology Group and has been at the forefront of implementing legal technology solutions in the firm's Belgian offices. In that capacity, he frequently interacts with Fuse, the firm's tech innovation space.

Experience

Representative matters

Various private credit funds and sponsors on their event-driven financings, including unitranches, special situations and hybrid instruments.

Etex on the financing of its acquisition of Ursa (Xella group’s business unit “insulation materials”), on its syndicated bank financing and on the issue of its EUR 800,000,000 ESG-linked Schuldschein loan.

The mandated lead arrangers in respect of the financing by Elia Group SA/NV to acquire a 35.1% stake in a subsidiary of an energy transition company.

The lenders in respect of the financing of the voluntary public tender offer by Cegeka Groep NV, a Belgium-based company IT group, on all outstanding shares of common stock of Computer Task Group, Incorporated (NASDAQ).

The lenders in relation to the multi-layered refinancing Ontex Group NV, composed of a EUR 580,000,000 high yield notes offering and EUR 470,000,000 syndicated facilities agreement.
