Daisuke Eguchi

Daisuke has significant experience representing Japanese and multinational clients on both cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, VC and start up investments, antitrust matters and general corporate matters.

He is experienced in drafting and negotiation key transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, as well as managing due diligence processes and closings on large M&A transactions. Daisuke also has experience advising clients in their defense of hostile takeover bids, including in relation to defense strategies, drafting of key documents, dealing with activist shareholders, and managing stakeholder communications.

Prior to joining A&O Shearman, Daisuke worked at a major "Big 4" Japanese law firm as well as a cross-border boutique M&A firm in Japan. Daisuke is qualified to advise on the laws of Japan as a bengoshi, and speaks Japanese and English.
