Chris is a member of the firm's global private equity group. 
Chris has a wide range of experience advising private equity funds and other financial sponsors on a number of cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, consortium arrangements and co-investments. Chris has spent time on secondment at the legal team of Heathrow Airport Holdings Limited and also A&O Shearman's Amsterdam office.

Brookfield Business Partners on the acquisition of Modulaire Group for approximately US$5bn from TDR Capital.

ERM and its two institutional shareholders, OMERS and AIMCo, on the sale of ERM to KKR.

EQT on its EUR1.3bn acquisition of leading Spanish property listing site idealista from Apax.

Exponent Private Equity on a number of transactions, including the acquisitions of Eat Real, TRS Foods, East End Foods, Photobox and Wowcher and the disposal of Loch Lomond Distillery Company.

Bridgepoint on its acquisition of Qualitest from Marlin Private Equity.

3i Infrastructure plc on the acquisition of Global Cloud Xchange.

FNZ, the global wealth management platform, on its USD1.4bn equity fundraising from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Motive Partners, valuing the group at over USD20bn.

Charterhouse Capital Partners on the acquisition of Telio from Deutsche Beteiligungs AG.

Caisse de dépôt et placement du Quebec on its investment in a Lloyds specialist insurance vehicle, and the related acquisition of Starstone Underwriting Limited from Enstar and Stone Point.

PAI Partners on the sale of the caprolactone division of Perstorp for EUR590m to Ingevity Corporation.

EQT on its EUR3bn disposal of Bureau van Dijk to Moody's Corporation.
