Catherine has extensive expertise in commercial dispute resolution, contentious regulatory matters, and restructuring and insolvency.
Catherine has acted in a broad spectrum of complex contractual disputes, negligence claims, and securities enforcement proceedings. She is particularly skilled in managing large-scale and high-stakes commercial disputes, with experience spanning the mining, energy, agribusiness, construction, manufacturing, property, and financial services sectors. Catherine has represented clients in disputes before a number of superior courts in Australia as well as domestic and international arbitration. 

Her regulatory practice includes advising on risk management and compliance, particularly in relation to anti-bribery and corruption, as well as ASIC and ASX regulatory obligations, investigations and follow on proceedings. 
In the restructuring and insolvency space, Catherine has advised insolvency practitioners and creditors on all aspects of insolvency administration in both the UK and Australia. She also regularly advises directors of public companies on their legal duties and governance responsibilities. 

Catherine has been recognised in Best Lawyers since 2020 for litigation, mining law and alternative dispute resolution, in Doyle’s Guide for litigation and Legal 500 for litigation and natural resources (transactions and regulatory).
