A&O Shearman is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Pedler, an experienced disputes partner, in Perth.

Catherine brings extensive expertise in commercial dispute resolution, contentious regulatory matters, and restructuring and insolvency.

She has a proven track record of managing complex and large-scale commercial disputes across various sectors including mining, energy, agribusiness, manufacturing, property, and financial services.

Commenting on the appointment, David Jenaway, co-managing partner of A&O Shearman in Australia, said: “As we celebrate 15 years in the Australian market, Catherine’s hire is key to cementing our position in Perth as the centre of excellence in the energy, resources and infrastructure sector and to maintaining our market-leading disputes capability. Catherine joins A&O Shearman today from Ashurst, where she led their Perth disputes team.
