She graduated from the IEP “Sciences-Po” Paris and started her career in 1986 at the SBF (Société des Bourses Françaises) in the legal department. From 1992, she worked at the Issuers’ Directorate of the SBF and gained extensive experience in corporate finance transactions, being the privileged interlocutor of listed issuers, financial advisers and law firms.
From 1996, Catherine continued her career at the French Authority Market, the CMF (Conseil des Marchés Financiers) and AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers). She acted as general secretary of the board of those authorities for a decade.
From 2004, she decided to join lawyer firms and worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and then Clifford Chance.
She has expert knowledge of stock exchange law and public M&A transactions (public offer, governance, regulated information, market abuse issues).
