Candela Urbano

Candela has experience in civil procedures of all kinds (financial products, construction, franchise, anti-trust damages claims, etc.), as well as in civil and commercial arbitrations before various arbitration institutions (ICSID, CIAM, etc.).
She also has experience in criminal compliance matters, reviewing the Spanish criminal laws applicable to legal corporations.

Experience

Pro bono

Collaboration with the “REDRESS” association, together with the ICC, in the analysis and research on Spanish legislation regarding asset recovery and reparations mechanisms”.

Collaboration with the “CERMI” association and a Spanish university, in the drafting of a legislative amendment proposal to ensure the rights of people with osteochondrodysplasia.

Collaborate with "Fundación Integra", which is a foundation that helps people at risk of exclusion. Specifically, I taught along with another colleague from the office a session on labor rights and responsibilities.

Speaking Engagements

  • Arbitrator at the VIII Madrid Vis Premoot in Madrid.

  • Award for the best academic record in the joint degree of Law and Journalism, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2020).
