Berk Sahin

Associate

Berk is an Associate in the Funds & Asset Management Group in London. 
Berk is a part of our tier 1 institutional investor practice advising sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, development finance institutions, insurance companies, family officers and other institutional investors on fund investments, co-investments, funds of one and management accounts across a wide variety of geographies and asset classes. He also advises asset managers on the formation, fundraising and operation of closed and open ended funds across a number of asset classes, including real estate and infrastructure.

Experience

Representative matters

A global asset manager on the establishment and fundraising for its European Value-Add Fund with total commitments of over €1 billion.

Heitman on the establishment, fundraising and ongoing maintenance for its European Value Fund.

A global asset manager on the establishment and ongoing lifecycle of numerous open and closed-ended funds (across asset-classes including transport infrastructure and real estate).

A global private markets investment manager on its investments in various private equity and infrastructure funds, including Blackstone Growth II, KKR Global Impact Fund II and Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 3.

An international development finance institution on a range of investments, including in:

Amethis Fund III, a pan-African private equity fund that will invest in various sectors, including healthcare, non-banking financial institutions & services, business services (including logistics & IT), manufacturing and distribution.

Disruptech Egypt Fund I C.V. – a venture capital fund that invests in seed-stage companies in financial technology sectors in Egypt.

Ventures Platform Fund IV - a fund is a PE fund focussed on Africa that focuses on consumer products, financial services, IT, logistics and telecoms.
