Andreas has experience advising on a wide range of projects in the petroleum, oil & gas and energy sector more broadly.

He also has experience advising on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters, both within and outside the energy and resources sector, in areas such as environmental approvals, native title and heritage, and regulatory compliance.

Additionally, Andreas also has experience assisting on a broad range of commercial transactions including complex cross-border acquisitions and disposals.

Fortescue Future Industries on offtake arrangements for hydrogen and associated vectors, including development of a template offtake agreement.

Alinta Energy on the sale of its business in the Pilbara region of Western Australia to APA Group for an enterprise value of AUD1.722 billion (USD1.1bn).

SK E&S on the proposed development of the Caldita Barossa gas fields in the Timor Sea and LNG processing via the Darwin LNG plant and associated CCS project.

Omnes on the acquisition of a minority stake in global clean energy enterprise TagEnergy, for an amount of EUR150 million.

Pilbara Minerals on an AUD80M share issue to POSCO, a life of mine offtake agreement, an AUD80M convertible bond issue to POSCO redeemable at Pilbara Minerals election and key joint venture principle for a downstream processing joint venture.

Pro bono

Advising World Bank Group on a pro bono basis with the 2021 edition of its “Doing Business” project by assisting with research on the public tender and procurement process in Australia. The project was designed to assist policymakers identify opportunities for regulatory improvements during the Covid-19 pandemic.
