Alex is a funds and asset management lawyer with experience in advising asset managers on the structuring and formation of a variety of investment funds, including real estate, private equity, and debt funds.

 Alex similarly advises institutional investors across the globe on their investments into funds and individual mandates across the full spectrum of asset classes. Alex also advises a broad range of clients on the architecture of their cross-border investment management structures and regulatory frameworks.
 
Alex acts for a diverse range of clients, from global asset managers, banks and insurance companies to sovereign wealth funds and central banks. Alex has advised on large and complex fund transactions, involving multiple jurisdictions (including the leading fund domiciles of Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Jersey), asset classes and regulatory regimes. Alex also advises on the regulatory aspects of asset management and has experience advising on joint ventures and M&A transactions, as well as regulatory issues relating to asset management M&A, banking, pensions and insurance sectors.
 
Alex is outcomes focused and uses a strong business acumen to inform the advice he gives to his client’s major stakeholders. Clients have noted to legal directories that Alex has an impressive ability to tackle complex issues and negotiate solutions that favourably serve the commercial interests of all parties involved.
