A&O Shearman advised the initial purchasers in the Province of Neuquen’s offering of USD500m 7.350% Notes due 2034, marking the province’s first return to international capital markets since March 2017.

The transaction extends A&O Shearman’s track record on Argentine capital markets matters, including advising longtime client, Argentina’s Province of Cordoba, in its USD725m notes offering and concurrent tender offer, the initial purchasers in PCR’s USD400m notes offering, Tecpetrol’s USD750m notes offering, and Arcor’s USD350m notes offering.

The A&O Shearman team was led by New York-based capital markets partner Alejandro A. Gordano and included capital markets staff attorney Gabriela Laufer and associate Hanan Al-Malssi, as well as tax partner Lorenz Haselberger and tax associate Daniel Kachmar
