A&O Shearman represents Argentina’s Province of Cordoba on its USD725 million bond offering and tender offer
A&O Shearman represented longtime client, Argentina’s Province of Cordoba, in connection with its offering of USD725m 9.750% Notes due 2032 and concurrent tender offer for its U.S. Dollar Step-Up Notes due 2027. This offering represents Province of Cordoba’s return to international capital markets since June 2017.

The Province of Cordoba intends to use the proceeds from the sale of the notes for the repurchase of the U.S. Dollar Step-Up Notes due 2027 accepted in the tender offer, and the remainder to finance infrastructure projects or repay existing liabilities.

A&O Shearman recently advised the initial purchasers in connection with a USD1.067 billion bond offering by the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the Republic of Chile in connection with a EUR1.3bn bond offering and exchange offer.
