A&O Shearman today announces the appointment of Suzanne Horne as a partner in its employment practice.

Suzanne joins the team in the UK from Paul Hastings and brings with her over two decades’ experience on a broad range of complex employment matters across multiple sectors.

Her practice encompasses all aspects of employment law, including High Court litigation on business protection matters, employment advisory work, and transactional support.

Ranked by both Chambers and Legal 500, she was named "Employment Lawyer of the Year" at the 2024 International Employment Lawyer Awards.

“We are thrilled to welcome Suzanne to the team,” said Sarah Henchoz, global head of employment. “She is widely recognized as one of the foremost employment lawyers in the UK market, and her appointment reflects our continued commitment to providing clients with the very best advice on the most complex matters.”

“Suzanne’s exceptional reputation, her deep expertise in employment litigation and advisory work, and her strong relationships with corporate and U.S.-based clients make her an outstanding addition to our team.”

Suzanne Horne added: “I am delighted to be joining a team with such a strong reputation and unparalleled expertise. A&O Shearman felt like a great home to further my practice, and I look forward to working alongside a collaborative, full-service team with a truly global reach.”

Suzanne’s arrival strengthens A&O Shearman's market-leading Global Employment and Benefits team and follows the hire of partners Louise Batty in London and Paz De La Iglesia in Madrid, earlier this year.
