A&O Shearman advises the Republic of Chile on SEC-registered bond offering and exchange offer
A&O Shearman advised the Republic of Chile in connection with its SEC-registered offering of EUR1.3 billion 3.800% notes due 2035 (New Notes) and offer to exchange approximately EUR1.65bn of euro-denominated debt securities for New Notes.

Chile intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of New Notes for general purposes.

A&O Shearman recently advised Argentina’s Province of Cordoba in connection with a bond offering and cash tender offer as well as the initial purchasers and dealer managers in connection with a bond offering and cash tender offer by the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
