A&O Shearman advises ten banks on Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina's USD6 billion new transactions

A&O Shearman advised ten banks in the entry of new transactions with the Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina (BCRA) in an amount of USD6bn over BONAR bonds in connection with the termination of all of BCRA’s outstanding repurchase transactions in the same amount.

The new transactions improved the BCRA’s maturity profile, reduced its financing costs and strengthened its foreign currency liquidity position.
