A&O Shearman advises on CSX Corporation’s USD300 million notes reopening

A&O Shearman represented the underwriters in connection with CSX Corporation’s public offering of USD300m of its 5.050% notes due 2035, which form a single series with the USD600m aggregate principal amount of 5.050% notes due 2035 issued by CSX on March 10, 2025.

CSX is one of the nation’s leading transportation companies, providing rail-based transportation services including traditional rail service, the transport of intermodal containers and trailers, as well as other transportation services such as rail-to-truck transfers and bulk commodity operations. 

The A&O Shearman team was led by New York-based capital markets partners Erika Kent and Lona Nallengara, and associates Ilya Mamin, Tianwei Liu, and Joe Tambasco.
