A&O Shearman advises on CODELCO's USD1.25 billion bond offering
A&O Shearman advised the initial purchasers in connection with an offering of USD1 billion 5.529% Notes due 2037 and reopening of USD250 million 6.300% Notes due 2053 by Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile, or CODELCO.
CODELCO is the world’s largest copper producer and one of the largest companies in Chile by revenue. CODELCO intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the notes for general corporate purposes.

In 2025, A&O Shearman advised the initial purchasers in connection with a total of USD2.9bn notes offerings by CODELCO.
