A&O Shearman advises on Blue Moon Metals’ CAD156.25 million “bought deal” equity offerings

A&O Shearman advised the underwriters in the public equity offering by Blue Moon Metals Inc. of 10,625,000 common shares at an issue price of CAD10.00 per share. 

The 10,625,000 common shares included 625,000 shares sold pursuant to the partial exercise of the underwriters’ over-allotment option. Concurrently, Blue Moon Metals completed a private placement of 5,000,000 common shares at CAD10.00 per share.

The offerings together resulted in aggregate gross proceeds to the company of CAD156.25 million, before deducting commissions and offering expenses. The public offering and concurrent private placement were both conducted on a “bought deal” basis. The public offering was conducted under the SEC’s Multijurisdictional Disclosure System for Canadian issuers (MJDS).

Blue Moon Metals is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing its polymetallic brownfield projects, including the Nussir copper-gold-silver and NSG copper-zinc-gold-silver projects in Norway, and the Blue Moon zinc-gold-silver-copper, Springer tungsten-molybdenum, and Apex germanium-gallium-copper projects in the United States.
