A&O Shearman advises lenders on USD3.2 billion multilateral-backed financings for the Republic of Argentina

A&O Shearman has advised the lenders, a group of commercial banks, in connection with two multilateral-backed loan facilities totaling USD3.2bn extended to the Republic of Argentina.

The first facility, in the amount of USD2bn, is guaranteed by the World Bank's International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). The second facility, in the amount of USD1.2bn, is partially guaranteed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
