A&O Shearman advises Brookfield and Modulaire on EUR1.9 billion refinancing
A&O Shearman has advised Brookfield, a leading global investment firm, and its portfolio company Modulaire, on Modulaire’s EUR1.9bn refinancing transaction. The refinancing comprised EUR600 million 6.500% senior secured notes due 2031 and a new term loan facility B in an aggregate principal amount of EUR1.3bn.

London-headquartered Modulaire is a leading global provider of modular services and infrastructure, serving more than 53,000 customers worldwide.

The A&O Shearman team was led by European co-head of private equity Neil Sinha and head of high yield John Kicken, together with sponsor-side leveraged finance partner Adam Zecharia, senior associates Sampada Bannurmath and Elizabeth Athanassios, associates Jack Cameron, Stavros Bakolas, Chandrasekar Sriram, and Mubashshir Sarshar, and trainee Daniel-Paul Osahon.

Cross-border advice was also provided by A&O Shearman’s finance partners led by William Kim in Australia, Thomas Roy in France, Walter Uebelhoer in Germany, and Ignacio Ruiz-Camara in Spain.
