A&O Shearman advised the banking syndicate on Roquette’s issuance of EUR600 million of perpetual deeply subordinated hybrid notes.

Roquette is a global leader in plant-based ingredients and a leading supplier of pharmaceutical excipients to the healthcare and nutrition industries.

The bonds were issued on April 21, 2026, and bear interest at a fixed rate of 6% per annum until the first reset date on April 21, 2032. They are listed on the regulated market of Euronext Paris and are rated BB+ by S&P Global Ratings.

A&O Shearman acted as legal advisor, with a team led by partner Julien Sébastien, assisted by counsel Lorraine Miramond and associate Hakima Gourari.
