Ahmad advises banks, financial institutions, publicly listed and private companies, and government entities on a wide range of sophisticated corporate and regulatory matters.

Ahmad has extensive experience in the UAE Commercial Companies Law and the UAE corporate landscape, with recognised expertise in public-company listings, UAE financial markets regulation and major transactional mandates. He has a strong track record on IPOs, public-company mergers and governance structuring. His practice focuses on advising boards and senior executives on continuing obligations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and shareholder relations. He regularly acts on capital markets matters, including equity issuances, secondary offerings, block trades and off-market transfers. Ahmad also serves as board advisor, board secretary and governance counsel to several Abu Dhabi–listed companies. 

Ahmad frequently contributes to legislative drafting in the United Arab Emirates. Most recently, he was part of a select team advising the UAE Government on the UAE Tolerance Initiative regulatory reforms, the most significant legal overhaul in the nation’s history. 

Ahmad is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and is admitted to the Jordan Bar Association.
