Zhe has extensive experience advising both lenders and borrowers on a wide range of asset-based financing transactions.
His expertise spans receivables finance, asset finance, real estate finance, and corporate finance, with a strong focus on delivering commercially sound and practical solutions tailored to clients’ strategic objectives.

He has practiced in both Australia and New Zealand and regularly advises on cross-border financing transactions involving funding across the Tasman. This trans-Tasman experience gives him a unique perspective on the legal and commercial considerations relevant to clients operating in both jurisdictions.

Before joining A&O Shearman, Zhe was a senior associate at a leading national law firm, where he played a key role in complex financing deals and built a reputation for his technical expertise, collaborative approach, and commitment to achieving successful outcomes for clients.
