She produces, coordinates, and contributes to A&O Shearman’s sustainability-related client-facing initiatives and thought leadership content, drawing upon her familiarity with the latest trends and developments across key topics impacting corporates and financial institutions.
The policy and legal developments that she covers include: sustainability reporting and disclosure; transition planning and transition finance; supply chain due diligence; carbon markets and carbon border adjustment mechanisms; the intersection of AI and sustainability; and litigation and enforcement in the ESG sphere. She was a secretariat member of the UK government-commissioned Transition Finance Market Review which concluded in Q4 2024.
Beyond UK and EU regulations, Ying-Peng engages with colleagues across A&O Shearman’s offices and specialisms to develop and deliver client-facing content that reflect a global, interdisciplinary understanding of pertinent legal issues.
Prior to joining A&O Shearman, she worked for over nine years at Slaughter and May where she advised clients on a broad range of regulatory and contentious matters, including multi-jurisdictional regulatory investigations, commercial litigation and sector-specific regulatory issues.
